vegans beware! highly offensive app
permaculture is usually associated with plant-based food sources, with occasional reference to animals (animal ag will be, for the foreseeable future, unsustainable, as the 50+ billion food animals slaughtered each year significantly contribute to global warming)... but this app is insensitive to that predilection with the opening screen graphically displaying, complete with photos, the headline "butchering a pig - another quick video...this guy makes it look easy". this is revolting at best, but more to the point what i this act of unsustainable cruelty (really!) have to do with making the changes necessary to grow all food sustainably!

Was good now not...
This used to be an excellent app and deserved 5 stars, but with the most recent version it is nearly unusable due to sluggishness and crashing on iPad 3... Also, the feed from Temperate Climate Permaculture (TCP) no longer updates since the blog moved to a new site, which was the best resource on this app and the reason I loved it so much! Please fix these two issues and I will give it 5stars again!

Fantastic start, but needs more...
This app is a great start, but it needs more. I love the "permaculture plants" section. Its very informative and useful. However, I feel rather than just providing "tips", there should be a permanent, growing, and down-loadable database that can be accessed at all times. Almost like a permaculture textbook/field-guide for your your smart phone or tablet. I would love to see a lot more of "permaculture plants", companion planting relationships, and design graphics for starters. Keep up the good work!
